Jane Cawthorne writes about women on the brink of transformation. Her debut novel, Patterson House, takes place in Toronto, the city in which she grew up. She has edited two anthologies with E. D. Morin—Impact: Women Writing After Concussion and Writing Menopause: An Anthology of Fiction, Poetry and Creative Nonfiction. Her work has recently been anthologized in (M)Othering, Anne Sorbie and Heidi Grogan Eds, You Look Good for Your Age, Rona Altrows Ed., and Waiting, Rona Altrows and Julie Sedivy Eds. Her play, The Abortion Monologues, has been produced many times in Canada and the US. Jane received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Solstice Program in Creative Writing, now located at Lasell University in Massachusetts and has a Masters degree in Education from OISE/UT. She currently lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
